Hackberry Hill Staff
Run For Funds
Our annual school wide fundraiser is Run for Funds. As a school we enjoy running together while raising money to improve our school, learning, and teaching.
Collaboration and Mentorship
Older students help support learning with younger grade levels. Students assist alongside other students supporting with technology, reading, and writing.
Tie Dye Tuesdays
Every Tuesday the entire school wears different colors of tie dye to represent grade levels.
Buddy reading in the library
Students get to have buddy classes where older students get to help support reading alongside younger grades.
Band
5th grade students have the opportunity to participate in band and orchestra at Hackberry Hill Elementary.
Halloween Parade
The entire school celebrates Halloween with a parade and classroom party.
STEAM Lab Collaboration
Students collaborate and problem solve to design, build, create using a variety of tools and resources that are hands-on and using Chromebooks. Students also program different robots in the STEAM Lab.
Arvada Area Orchestra Concert
5th grade students perform with all Arvada area schools in orchestra and band.
