Visiting School and Classrooms

Parents are encouraged to visit classrooms at least once each school year. It is important that you call before coming to visit to assure that students will be working in their classrooms that day. Individual classrooms schedule various field trips, speakers, outside activities, tests, etc. and may not be available for in-class visits. Be sure to sign in at the office upon entering the building. Students from other schools, visiting student relatives and students who have the day off are not allowed to spend the day at school for liability reasons and disruption to learning. Outside students visiting the school must make arrangements with the principal and be accompanied by an adult. Adult relatives, other than parents, are welcome as long as the teacher approves the visit and visitors check in through the office.
